a recap

hmmm, it's been a few weeks.

Look at the ticker over there -------------------->

Woohoo!! 35weeks pregnant, 35 days to go. I can't wait to meet the newest member of our family. Better put, I can't wait to get this baby out. Rolling off the couch, holding my belly up, swollen feet, fingers, legs....NOT my idea of fun....soon soon soon. Yep, that's what I keep telling myself :)

Most recent pic of my little basketball.

In other news, time to play catch up via pics.

MAY = Mother's Day spent at Minnesota's Historical Oliver H Kelley Farm. Loved the rustic feel, going back in time. (hint: click the pictures, they should get bigger ;) )

Layla's attempt at photography, she did a pretty good job if you ask me :)

the oxen were soon put to work plowing the fields

There was also a Preschool graduation in May. Congrats to Layla!

Nothing too exciting in June....skip to July.

4th of July weekend =  in Aitkin, with lots of family. water parks. picnics. sparklers.

and most recently....Layla turned 5

Happy birthday to my soon to be Kindergartner :)

and....that is all for now.

Another Girl!

Well, it looks like we will be welcoming another girl this coming September. I will admit, I am disappointed, but every child is a blessing right??

We found out this morning. I wanted to bring Layla and Allie with, oh my was that a big mistake. They would NOT sit still and be quiet! But at least they each got their very own picture of their little baby sister.

That's all for now :)

or you can smile because she has lived.
You can close your eyes and pray that she'll come back,
or you can open your eyes and see all she's left.
Your heart can be empty because you can't see her,
or you can be full of the love you shared.
You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday,
or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.
You can remember her only that she is gone,
or you can cherish her memory and let it live on.
You can cry and close your mind,
be empty and turn your back.
Or you can do what she'd want:
smile, open your eyes, love and go on.”
